The World Tree
The axis mundi — often depicted with seven or nine levels — binds the three worlds. Birds nest in its crown, humans dwell among its branches, serpents and beasts coil at its roots. The Táltos climbs it in trance to bring back vision and song.

A Táltos
The Shaman
Seer, healer, psychopomp and ritual leader. The Táltos is marked from birth — an extra bone, a tooth already grown, a calling dream — and travels between the three worlds in trance.
The drum is the horse. The tree is the road. The animal ally is the teacher. The patient is brought home.
Trance & Song
Chant, rhythmic breath and the climbing of an invisible tree — ascent into the Felső Világ.
Spirit Animals
Bear, wolf, stag and falcon — the helpers met on the road, who speak through the body of the Táltos.
Soul Retrieval
The Táltos descends to recover what illness, fright or loss has torn from the patient, and weaves it back into place.

A Living Reconstruction
Today Ősmagyar Vallás lives in many forms — scholarly reconstruction, Táltos revival circles, national-spiritual communities and mystical reinterpretation. Names, roles and rites differ; the World Tree still stands at the center.
